Hi, Jeramy--I have info on your line of Kindle that goes to William Kindle b.1755 VA d.1852 Decatur Co TN. He was a Patriot whose records are in the National Archives #S-2705, served as a private in the 2nd Regt Virginia Line throughout the Revolutionary War not returning home until that last redcoat left Savannah GA in 1783. He was present at Yorktown in 1781 when Washington defeated Cornwallis. He settled on Horse Creek, Greene County, TN about 1785 and lived there until 1838 when he went to live with son George in Decatur Co TN. He may be my 5th great grandfather since my 4th great grandfather William Kindel b.1781 VA married nearby in Greeneville, Greene Co TN 28 Jan 1800, but I haven't found any proof, only clues of such a relationship. I have quite a bit of info on the descendants of your William Kindle b.1755 including those mentioned in your query. My info came from a really good Kindle family researcher, Betty Jo Kindle of Tyler TX now deceased. I'll be happy to pass this info along to you. Do you have a genealogy software program? The easiest way to pass the info to you is to send you a GEDCOM (an electronic file that can only be translated by genealogy software). If you have a program, let me know and let me know your email address & I'll send it to you. If you don't have the software, you can get a free download of Personal Ancestral File that I use at the LDS website http://familysearch.orghttp://familysearch.org. I'm a Kindel + Kindle researcher and glad to help. -- Fred
