Lambert King - Habersham County Georgia I

My name is Canda Mitchell. I have spent 20 years searching for the ancestry of my 4th great grandfather Lambert King. I hope this post will find some answers, thank you in advance:)

I descend from Lambert King - William Curry King - Wiley Foster King - Coley Marshall King -Helen Rose King to me Canda Norton Mitchell.

I have the book Roots and Branches by Nola Mae Jackson (a cousin of my mother) She included in her book a land deed or sale in Habersham County GA in 1857. It concerns the sale of land from the heirs of LEMBRICK KING to one heir, my 3 greats grandfather William Curry King. Involved were Sarah White (King) James Allen King. no wife or other siblings mentioned.

My question is: Have you run across LEMBRICK as a name for Lambert in your research? If you look online at my Family Tree Maker page titled Calkins and Kings you will see a note about Lambert taking on the King surname as a teen-ager etc. in a Mormon Temple document. My great grandfather Bishop Wiley Foster King wrote that remembrance. I am not Mormon so I did not learn of this information until 1999.
