Dear Sharon,
I got in touch with my Aunt. Most of her information is first hand, that is from the memory of people who knew these people. Here are some answers to your questions:
Were they married In IN?She didn't knowfor sure, but said it was likely.
Clagstone was a really relly small town that no longer exists, and would not be on an atlas. The name of the county may have changed, but it was Harlem.
Now the closest town is called Spirit Lake and it is also very small. The city hall has all records for the cemetery. Our family is buried in the oldest one on the outskirts of town. Ko-otenai is the county. My aunt went there in August of 1997 and took pictures of their headstones. Emery Clark McDaniel, Elizabeth (Kingen) McDaniel, Wiliam McDaniel and Elizabeth's daughter Nellie Lindberg are all buried there.
My aunt said that it is probably likely that the county is Stark instead of Clark if that's where Bradford is.She was going off the memory of my Great Grandmother, Emery's wife. She also asked if ThayerlLake was close to Bradford, because some of Elizabeth's children were born there.
She also said that "Spokane is the town and Pleasant Prairie is the county, but it may not be called that.
Wild Rose Prairie, Deer Park County ??? info was from Grandma Bartmess (Emery's wife), but she has no paperwork on this.
Also, a few days ago I went to Famiysearch.org and searched the newly released 1880 census on the internet, and found Elizabeth Kingen as a child with all of her siblings.Riley was among them as you said, and she also had twin sisters, Edna and Etna. I believe that William and Elizabeth were most likely married in Indiana because in 1880 that's where they both were, and they were married in August of 1880.
I hope this is somewhat helpful.I'll keep working on it.
