Hi Arthur
Have just discovered a VERY remote connection to the Kingscote gentry.
Thomas Kingscote and Harriet (who are quite well documented on the internet) had a son named Fizthardinge Kingscote.Fitzharding married Agnes Grant Stuart and they had several children between 1864 and 1873, some born in England, some in Ireland and one in Canada. Two were baptised in India.
One of Fitzharding and Agnes's sons was Randolph Albert F Kingscote who was born 1867 in Ireland.Randolph married Florence Louisa Boehm in Kensington, London in 1890.This is where my connection comes in!Florence Louisa Boehm was the daughter of the famous sculptor Sir Joseph Edgar Boehm and Frances Louisa nee Boteler.Frances Louisa was the cousin of my great great grandmother, Ellen Martha Boteler.I told you it was a very remote connection!!
I don't know if Florence Louisa and Randolph had any children but on the FreeBMD site there is a record of Florence remarrying in 1902 and I don't know yet whether Randolph died or if they were divorced.
This is probably no use to you at all but it is raining at the moment so I thought I would wander through the forums!
Regards,
Jackie
