I hope you can help me with this Mary Kingsley who grew up in Wellington, Nevada.
Her aunt, Mary -- from Ireland, wed an Englishman, John Hoye amd they operated a store in about l860 in Utah Territory (Later NV) and about a decade later she brough her niece Mary Kingsley,nephew Thomas, and another nephew.The niece Mary Kingsley finished schooling in the l870s or l880s and later moved to California.Thomas moved to Reno, NV.
I need more info on Mary Hoye and the niece and newphews for a small book I'd writing, concerning Smith Valley, NV.
I'm a Sp. Ed. teacher on an Indian Reservtion in AZ.In the evenings I enjoy writing history because it helps pass time.
