I am a descendant of Dr. J. D. Kirby. His full name is Jacob Decatur Kirby. He is the son of John and Wilmoth (Moore) Kirby.

Are you related to Jacob D. Kirby? If you are a direct descendant, you would be one of the ones that I have not found yet. I am writing a book about the descendants of the Kirby's of Halifax County, Virginia. It is being sent to all close relatives.
