Re: Robert Kirby, son of John

I am a direct descendent of Robert "Robin" Wright Kirby (1785-1841). Its been very difficult to trace his line back any further. I didn't know there were several Robert Kirbys of that generation, so this does make for some confusion. Has it been established that my Robert was the son of Henry and Susannah Wright or was he the son of John Kirby and Nancy "Ann" Brown who were married Pittsylvania Co VA and migrated with parents Henry and Susannah Wright Kirby from VA to SC to Warren Co TN then to Smith Co TN. Or was John a brother?Help!
