According to census records William M. Kirby born in Liberty County, GA is my great-great grandfather.His son,
Edward Riley Kirby(Kerby) born in GA 7 OCT 1859 is buried in Westview Cemetery, Jacksonville, FL, and was father to
my grandfather Samuel Scott Kirby 3/5/1893-2/27/1973. As I
have discovered, the Kirby and Kerby name has become interchangeable often due to either simple mispellings,
misprintings, i.e., not dotting the i in Kirby.Nevertheless, I am curious if you reside in GA, as my
wife and I reside in Keystone Heights, FL and I am most interested in conversing and possibly meeting with descendants of William M. Kirby of Liberty County, GA.
