Julia Whiting was the step-sister of my grandfather William Henry Whiting.I have a lot of information about her mother Julia Elizabeth Pither back to before 1600. But I have lost her in the 1870 Census just before my grandfather and his sister Elizabeth were born. I am currently in contact with a descendant of Frederick Charles Pither, Julia Pither'sfull-brother. He worked at; I am told for Queen Victoria as a Coach Painter and most likely employed Thomas Frederick Whiting as his labourer - Hence the marriage between Julia Pither and the your great grand father. I have just posted a letter today to the Royal Archivist at Windsor to broaden my knowledge of him. He left in strained circumstances I have been told.
What can I do for you?
I have about a week left before I have to go to Ireland to meet my relatives and follow my family tree there. I would be interested to find out what happened to Julia Whiting's descendants.
