The William S. Kirk that I am searching for his parents, brothers or sisters was born in Nova Scotia in 1787.His wife was Nancy and she was born in Virginiain 1788.William wentfrom Nova Scotia to Alexandria Maryland ??.He then went to Carrol county, Ohio and then to Union Co. Ohio where he lived the balance of his life.They had a son, William Jr. who was born in 1831 and a daughter Jane who was born in 1822.She had no children.William Jr. had a son born in 1865.His name was Leotas.They came to Union co. in 1834.So far I have nothing on William Jr. or his son Leotas.
They had left Union county after 1870.William Sr. was also in the War of 1812,probably from Maryland or Virginia.
