James was born in Ireland in 1818.He and 2 brothers came to this country.He married Hannah in PA maybe Clarion or Saly Co.His brother Samuel married her sister Rhoda.Samuel & Rhoda first moved to Iowa.Then James & Hannah moved between Jan 1856 and Sep 1858.They had 10 children.

Both couples are buried at Corydon IA.
