Found an old obit for Esther P.(Silver) KIRK b.Nov 15, 1842, m. Nov 21, 1862 to John Cornly KIRK. She died Apr 26, 1899 nr. Newburg, Oregon. Lists her parents as Wm. and Eliza (Warrington) SILVER. Lists children Mrs. M. W. Cadwallader of Harrison (township in Mahaska Co. Iowa I think), Mrs Walter E. Terrell nee(Alberta Elizabeth Kirk), Walter S. and Chester Kirk of Newburg, Oregon. They removed (from unknown location)to Iowa in 1869 Harrison Twp. Mahaska Co. and lived there for 23 years, members of the Methodist Chu.
In spring of 1893 they removed w/ 3 younger children to Newburg, OR where they united with the Friends Chu, the faith in which Mr. Kirk had been reared. If you are related pls. contact me for copy of obit.
