Hoped that helped. Wanted to add:
Drury Kirk married Dorcus Brown 14 Aug 1818 in Stokes County NC. A Vincent Brown was his bondsman.
These are probably sisters:
Marriages in Stokes County:
Sarah Kirk married John Grubbs 1819
Mary Kirk married Elisha Pace in 1820
Elizabeth Kirk married Clayton VanHoy in 1816.
D. Stockton was a witness to both David and Mary's marriages.
Plus, this one might be a sister but I am not sure:
Winifred married Ncholas Shipman in Monroe County Indiana 1835.
However all the Kirks I mentioned in both my posts who were married in Stokes County may be cousins or siblings. It is hard for me to say because in 1820 there were three Kirk's who were HH in the range of 45 and up. Isaac was one who had David listed near him. George was another who had Drury listed next to him. Plus a Thomas Kirk. All these Kirk families were listed very close together. In 1810, I didn't see any Kirk families listed in Stokes County NC.
In 1830, there are only three Kirks listed as HH. One is Drury and one is David. Both in the range of 30 to 40. There is Thomas in the range of 50-60 which was probably the one in the 1820 census. Isaac and George are gone from HH listings. I do not know where they are. In Monroe County Indiana, there are some Kirks listed in 1830. One is a George Kirk who was in the range of 70-80. This could be the George Kirk in the 1820 census for Stokes County NC. But I don't know. there is a Eve Kirk listed as HH age 40-50. Also, Alexander, Hiram, John and Johnathan. However, I don't know if any of the Kirk families in Monroe County Indiana in 1830 were related to the Kirks of Stokes County.
