I've found a Jane Kirkendall in the 1850 Newfield, Tompkins Co., census that would be 1-1/2 yrs. within the correct age, dau of Paul and Margaret Kirkendall. I've found a Mary Kirkendall, dau of Thomas and Betsey Kirkendall, in the Town of Danby, Tompkins County, 1860 census. Then everything stops. I was hoping by a slim chance that someone might be looking for the same Kirkendall family that I was and we could combine efforts.Thanks for your help.
