KLEPPERS in 19th cVictorian (Australia) German Settlements. I'm looking for contact with researchers, place of origin, descendants, and ongoing places, and other history about the family of Philip Klepper ( who died 1887 aged 60 in Box Hill, Victoria) who bought portions of land with other Germans in early Nunawading (now Surrey Hills) Victoria in 1853/1856Philip Klepper had about 7 acres next to Jackel and Schneider's vineyards and orchards. Later he bought Jackels when the pioneer died. His wife was Anna Maria nee Schmidt (Smitt, Smith, Smidt)who died age 62, in Kew (Asylum) Victoria in 1885. Their children were Elizabeth ( b Prussia) who married Robert Arbuckle ( b. Donegal, Ireland) in 1867; George b 1854 Prahran, Victoria; Ann Maria b, 1855 Nunawading; Hanna Maria b. 1857 Boroondara, who married Nicholas Inglefinger; Johann George b. 1859 Boroondara, who married Elizabeth McKee in Surrey Hills, Vic; Johanne Margaret b. 1861 who married William McNeill in Surrey Hills; Clara Klepper b. 1862 Nunawading; Agnes Klepper b 1864 Nunawading; and Anna Catherine Klepper b 1866 Box Hill, Victoria, Australia.
