Barbara,
I am researching a Franz Klippstein, born about 1870 in Hamburg, Germany, emigrated to the U.S. before 1890, married to Selma Erlich (b. about 1870 in Stuttgart, Germany, but no firm date of death), and living in the Chicago, IL area.They are the parents of Godfried Jacob Klippstein (1887 - 1945), my spouses grandfather.Do these names apper in your records?
