Hi Allen,
I also have Klug ancestors that lived in Sheboygan County, unfortunately I do not have any connections to your Johanna Caroline Klug.I did find John and Johanna in the census records. The 1900 census indicates she was born in Germany and immigrated Abt 1851. The 1880 census also shows she was born in Prussia. Both the 1880 and 1900 census they are living in Scott Township, Sheboygan County. The 1900 census states John was born in Germany and the 1880 census says he was born in Prussia.
In the 1870 census the family is living in Kewaskum, Washington County. It states he was born in Mecklenberg and she was born in Prussia. It also appears a sister, Augusta Klug is living with the family.
There is a Klug family living in Kewaskum, Washington County in the 1860 census, but no Johanna. However, there is a Caroline Klug working as a servant and living with a different family in Cedarberg in 1860, she was born in Prussia. The Klug family in Kewaskum includes:
August Klug b. Abt 1813 in Prussia
Caroline Klug b. Abt 1812 in Prussia
Hermann Klug b. Abt 1843 in Prussia
Ferdinand Klug b. Abt 1845 in Prussia
Bertha Klug b. Abt 1847 in Prussia
Augusta Klug b. Abt 1850 in Prussia
Maria Klug b. Abt 1853 in Wisconsin
Louise Klug b. Abt 1856 in Wisconsin
Hope this helps...
