Thanks for the quick response!I'm trying to get confirmation on Wheeler Knapp as Abram's father.I'm very inclined to accept the Roger Knapp line even though Wheeler may have committed suicide.I'm hoping to find other descendents of Wheeler.Wheeler Knap is on the Saratoga County 1800 census with two male children in the to 10 years column and 1 male26-45 and 1 female 26-45.This fits in with whathave so far but in 1810 the only thing I can find is for a Widow Knap with one male child 10 to 16 and 1 female child to 10 and 1 female 45 and up.What happened to the other children?It's probably a different family.I'm guessing the family moved in with other family right after Wheeler met his demise but I would like to know where they went.Anyway thanks for your response.
