Elwood Knickbocker, born 21 Mar 1886 in CA, died 12 Sep 1968 in San Mateo Co., CA, was the son of a hay and grain merchant turned real estate agent, Calvin E. Knickerbocker, born May 1852 in NY, and Janet Wilson, born Sep 1857 in CA.Elwood's siblings (all born in CA) were Alexander W. Knickerbocker, born July 1887; Walter P. Knickerbocker, born May 1891; and Alice E. Knickerbocker, born May 1893.Elwood was employed as a a fire insurance clerk and later as a real estate salesman.He married Loretta A. (maiden name unknown), born about 1892 in CA.Elwood and Loretta had a son, Calvin Knickerbocker, born about 1922 in CA.
