I have done a little research on the Knights in Franklin County, Tennessee.I may be duplicating what you have on Jane N. Knight.

I have Jane N. Knight, daughter of William B. Knight and Matilda O'Rear, born 5 April 1839, in Franklin County, Tennessee.She was the 7th of their 13 children.Birth dates for these 13 children are from a copy of a Bible page on file at the public library in Winchester, Tennessee.The Bible was in the possession of a descendant of the family living in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

I found the marriage listed as you did, Levi F. Rippy m. Jane N. Knight; but I found them listed as Lewis F. and Jane in the 1860 census for Franklin County with their four-month old daughter Mary A.

The loose files of Project Preservation in Franklin County includes a document filed in the settlement of the estate of William B. Knight in January 1872.This document (J.M. Britton, admin, vs. W.B. Knight Heirs) lists L.F. Rippy and wife Jane Rippy of Bedford County, Tennessee.

I believe that A.G. Headen married Amanda J. Knight, daughter of Jane N. Knight's first cousin, James London Knight.They are found in the 1870 Franklin County census as:
A.G. Headen, cooper, age 38
Amanda, age 21
Robey, age 2, born in Illinois
Jennie, age 8 (A.G.'s daughter by first marriage?)

Hope this helps some.I think Bedford County, Tennessee, is the next place for us to look for this family.I am descended from William B. Knight's older sister, Winnifred, and have spent time just trying to understand all the Knights in Franklin County, Tennessee.Will be glad to share any data you're interested in.
