I joined the World Families Knight DNA Project.FTDNA offers group rates to project members starting ranging from $99 to $269 for the Y-DNA test.The more markers tested, the higher the cost but the more definitive the genetic relationship.The great thing about DNA testing as part of a Family DNA project is that we post our family pedigrees which can help break down those brick walls.If you are female you will need to find a direct Knight male descendant who is willing to provide the DNA specimen. The specimen is obtained by a simple oral swab.

So far, I haven't found a match for my Knight line, but I am still hopeful.It has been fun to see others find matches to their lines.Please email me if you have any questions and I will send you a link to the Knight Project.
