William T Knight b. July 1794 (most likely Poland, Maine, I think), d. 27 Nov 1868 Lubec, Maine. m. Esther______ He was in Norfolk, Va., 6 Mar 1830 when he gave his wife, Esther, the power of attorney to sell land in Poland, Maine.

I will see what other information I can find. How does your wife know she is a descendant of William T Knight?
