Re: Abraham Knight American Patriot

I found on the LDS site that William T Knight m. Oct 1815 Esther Mann in Portland, Maine.

I believe these two censuses (below) of 1850 and 1860 belong to Esther and Matthew T Knight. There are spelling and date conflicts, but both mention Alexander Knight. Their son that had a disability that was listed in both census as idiotic. Those were the words used back then. That both Alexanders in both censuses describe him as such I believe that his parents are William and Esther and in the 1850 census there are more children mentioned.

We know from Charles S Tibbetts that Matthew T Knight was definitely in Virginia for part of his life.
