Thomas Welborn Knight's mother, Lucretia (Brown) Knight was sister to my Sarah (Brown) Willingham. I descend from the Brown family on my dad's side, and he has had his autosomal DNA tested. So it is possible to get genealogically useful matches to Knight/Brown without it being from a male surnamed Knight.
