Rosacea
Another way to help connect family lines is to compare health histories. My group of Knowleses often have the symptoms of Rosacea characterized by redness and flaking in and around the eyebrows, nose, and cheeks in what is referred to as a butterfly pattern. This also seems to be directly affected by eating specific types of foods, such as hot peppers. Our Knowles line seems to have originate in North Carolina and fanned out along the Cumberland Plateau as more land opened up westward. If your Knowles family, regardless as to its origin, has a tendency for developing Rosacea, please let me know so we can share information. Thanks!
