Re: I am a Kolts
Hope all the previous messages didn't confuse you too much.
We need a little more information from you to be more certain of the match.Could you give us a birthdate for your grandfather Robert Kolts or your great-grandfather Lewis James Kolts?
Where the previous data I gave you is conflicting, it's because I corrected myself in a later message, so please consider the messages in chronological order.
In the 1930 U.S. census, Lewis Kolts (born about 1900 in Washington--apparently the son of Lewis James Kolts and Rosannah Courser) was living in Aberdeen, Grays Harbor Washington with his wife Corine (born about 1901 in Virginia), and children Lewis Jr. (born about 1901 in Alabama), Frank (born about 1923 in Alabama), and Bettirose (born about 1925 in Washington).Could this last one be your Aunt Betty? And was your grandfather Robert born after her--and after April 8, 1930?
This Lewis Kolts was, at the time, a mail carrier.
We find his wife later in the California State Death index, Corrine F. Clark Kolts, born 22 Nov 1901 in Virginia. She died 29 Nov 1967 in San Diego County.
And the Social Security Death Index shows a Lewis KOLTS, born 6 Apr 1899, died Mar 1966 in Gila County, Arizona.
