Looking for pre-immigration family info and cousins/info thereafter for:
Josef Kopa (b. abt 1837 Czech d.? Rosebud,Tx) and Franziska (?maiden?) Kopa (b. abt 1843 Moravia, Czech) married abt 1870 in Czech - who immigrated from Vizovice, Czechoslavakia
on 10-11-1879 to New York via the German Steam Liner General Werder - then onto Galveston, Texas and settled for awhile in Wesley, Tx before permanently settling in Rosebud,Texas.
Three children came with them: 8 year old John J. (my grand father)(b. 25 July 1871 Vizovice; d. 20 Feb 1950 Travis, Tx), 9 year old Josefa(Joseph/Joe) (b. abt 1870 Vizovice, d.? Ft Worth,Tx) and 16 month old Franziska (Frances)(b 29 June, 1878 Moravia,Czech). Changed last name spelling to "KOPPA". and had two children here, George William (b.after 1880) and William Roy (Bill)(b.after 1881).
My grandfather, John J. Koppa, married Rosalie Schiller
(b. 4 March 1876 Wesley, Tx d. 13 June 1952 Fort Worth, Tx) on 27 August, 1894 either in Wesley or Rosebud. They had 8 children - 7 daughters and a youngest son John William Koppa Sr, my father. His 7 sisters were Olga, Sadie, Lydia "Leedy", Annie Wilma "Ann", Lillian "Cheesie", and twins Della Emily and Ella Amily.
Have info on each line of original 5 children.

Thanks,Tom Koppa
