Krieger Family from Southeaster OH (Belmont Ohio)

I am looking for the German city of origin for Charles F. W. Kriger (1852-1910) who came to the US in about 1871.His parents were John (1825- ) and Caroline Wedmam/Wiedmann (1822 - ) who both died in Wheeling, Belmont OH and came to the states from Germany in about 1871.Their other son's names were John and William Frederick.
