Origin of the name Kuntschik / Kunschik and variations

The name Kunczik pronounced "Kun-shik", spelled also erroneously Kumschick in Switzerland where a Bohemian (Cechy) branch settled in 1731, is (as well as Kunczil, Kuntz or Kunz) the Silesian nickname for Kunrad/Konrad.
Kunrad, in turn, means in Germanic (ahd=Althochdeutsch: kuoni = kühn, rat = Ratgeber) "the bold advisor".
I have a quite complete family tree dating back in Switzerland (only) where two brothers arrived around the early 1700 from Bohemia.
There are still nowadays two nameholders "Kunczik" in Kravare, Kouty near Opava, Czech Republic.
