Re: Antoni Kupiec, 1858 -1927, Poland>VT
Hi I am very new in the search for family. My grandmother's name was Matylda Kupiec, before she got married. I came across a newspaper clipping that had a Mrs Adolph Kupiec Obituary listing for a Sophie Kupiec I don't know if there is a relation with what you are searching but this is some relative to my grandparent. This is all the info says on the clipping.
Mrs. Adolph Kupiec
Funeral services for Mrs. Sophie Kupiec age 49, wife of Adolph Kupiec of 103 Orange street. who died friday, were held this morning at 8 O'clock at Holy Cross Church. Rev. Stephen A. Barfkowski, pastor was the celebrant of the high requlem mass.
The bearers were Walter Wylot, Albert Sadowski, Paul Roszkowski, Wojciech Pulawski (my grandfather I think),Walter Pawelczyk and Michael Dila. The burial was in St. Mary's cemetery.
*note: under this clipping someone wrote the date August 18, 1939
**I also have another clipping next to this one that is for a Stanley Kupiec who was only 29 years of age. (perhaps a brother or son) but in this is the name Lipka is mentioned twice so this is what this one says.
Note: there are the same addresses, church and cementery.

** above this is a small cut out of the name of the paper (I think) Called ... New Britain Daily Herald, Saturday January 6, 1940 .
I don't know if this is anything helpful for you. I am trying hard to find any links to my grandparents. My grandmother name was spelled like this on her grave Matilda Pulaski. My grandfather name is spelled Albert Pulaski, I am told that he change his name legally to Pulaski but I have nothing to proove any of that. Also I have been told that my grandmother came from Ellis Island in 1910 on June 20th. she was 24yrs. old and single. Her noted last place residence from Poland was Swierzowa, Austria, Galicia, Polish is what it said, from what someone else pulled off the internet. If you come along her or his name can you please send me a e-mail, my e-mail address is Lynade4@cs.com I would appreciate anything you may have as I have little to work with. Oh yes, I am told that they had relatives in New Britian CT. And my grandparents came from Holyoke, MA. I will keep you on my file in case I should come across anything. I know that the names are spelled differently but I am told back then they mispelled many names. If you can find anything that relates to my family please do post it as I would appreciate anything I can get. sincerly
With much thanks and luck to you. Donna
