With networking, little by little we can add to our own information. I have been working on the POH family. They branch off from my HERRMANN line. Catherine HERRMANN married Louis POH and they are the parents of Benjamin POH. I was hoping to find some descendants who might have information about the POHs and any photos that they may be willing to share. Family lore say that my MANG and HERRMANN ancestors came from Alsace Lorraine. But when I went digging through old records such as census record, it is recorded differenty. But still may be in the general area. Louis POH hails from Hesse Darmstadt. My Christopher HERRMANN (grandfather of Benjamin POH)was born in Baden and his wife, Margaret SCHMIDT was born in Bavaria. Here is what I have been able to compile on your direct family from various records I have searched out for my direct family- POH/HERRMANN. Hope it is helpful. Do you live near Buffalo? I am looking for someone who would be willing to go out to where Benjamin POH and his family are buried to take photos. Shannon Courtney
