I have to make a couple corrections to my previous message as new info has been given to me.
Samp and 1st wife Minnie Cox had 3 children:Gencie b 1901, Essie b 1903, Annie b1905.With second wife Cora Barnett he had 5 children:Marvin b 1910(?), George, Earl, NJ b 1914, Dovie b 1917, and Maye.if this helps anyone I am pleased.
