Thanks for your information.You seem to have made more progress than me.I haveAlexander LACKEY (m Mary MORGAN) and James LACKEY (m Esther McALEXANDER) as brothers, probably sons of Adam LACKEY (DAR info). Do you have the will of Adam LACKEY? I noticed that the VA State Library has it indexed. I would appreciate anthing you can send me on why you think these LACKEYs are sons ofJOHN LACKEY of Amherst Co.
I have a lot of data on the descendants of brothers Alexander and James, if anyone is interested in these lines.
