Re: Lackey,Patrick CO,Va, Stokes CO, NC

In doing research of my family from Patrick Co., VA, the Slone/Sloan (some documents spell Slone--some spell Sloan)family, I have seen a close association with the David Morgan-Alexander Lackey family.In one instance one of the Slone children, Shadrack, was "bound out" in the 1790's to David Morgan, father-in-law of Alexander Lackey.In many other documents later in the early 1800's Alexander Lackey is a witness to Slone/Sloan documents such as marriages, wills, deeds, etc.In your research of the Lackey family, have you found any connection of the Lackey family with the Slone/Sloan family of Patrick Co., VA??
