Thanks for the reply.The Slone/Sloan family left Patrick, Frankin, Pittsylvania, VA area about the same time--1805 and both the Lackey-Morgan family and the Slone/Sloan family arrived in Floyd Co,KY together.Seems there might be a connection.I will keep looking!!
