For many years serveral descendants of Reuben Lackey and his brothers, William, Moses and Adam Allen have tried to discover their parents with no success. In the 1850 census Adam Allen gave his birth as SC and his father as PA. The birth dates of the brothers range from 1796 to 1810. They were in TN in 1820's. Adam Allen and William then went to Al.
