My GGrandfather was N.M.A. Lackey, supposedly born in NC on Apr 22, 1836.He came to Texas in 1849, served in the Civil War and died in Austin on Aug 8. 1922.I have no information concerning his brothers.Could he be the Nathaniel Lackey you speak of?I would be happy to exchange information with you.
