Dear LaDonna, tell me what you would like to know about Philemon 1749/50 and his family. I will be more than happy to answer if I can.I have always thought that Philemon's father was, maybe, James Lacey b. abt. 1703 of Charles City Co., VA or James City Co. Va, then maybe to New Kent Co. VA. Now this is all speculation.I think that James Lacey was a brother also to (this part can be found in the records)Henry 1705 wife Angelica and Benjamin of Brunswick Co. VA, sons of William II b. 1655 and Amy, Mary, or Sarah Batte d/o Thomas Batte. William II was in New Kent Co. VA in 1704, s/o William Lacey I b. 1623 from Ireland immigrated to James City Co., VA on York River in 1652.In 1656 patented land in New Kent Co. VA.This came from Steve Lacey from I believe FL. He had a Lacey/Lacy Quarterly out for a while.
