Re: John Lefever b 12-10-1855 Knox Co Ohio lived Iowa

I'm a GGgranddau of John b. 1855. I hope you can give some insight about a question I have. On the 1880 census I find a John and an Ester both born abt. 1815 in OH. Both are listed as married but neither of them is with the other. Ester is in the "Long" family home in Licking Co., OH which is just to the South of Knox Co., OH. John is listed with a 13 yr old son George in Knox Co., OH. I figured if you had the names and dates of the children of John and Easter you could tell me if these are the correct family. Also, any idea why they are listed seperately?
I am excited to here about the will and the many children. Until I came across your information today I was starting to think I would be stuck on this family line forever.
