I am so excited! I've been researching my grandmother's side with great success, but nothing on my grandfather's side.Melanie married Leon Wolf and had my great-grandmother Mary (Mae) Wolf who married 1st Husband, Howard Ayres Gordon (2nd Husband Harry Betz). They had two children that I know of, my grandfather Howard Edward Gordon and Norman Gordon.

All I know about Melanie is that she was born around 1866 around Alsayce-Lorraine France and died around 1943 in Philadelphia(?).I think she was considered to have two nationalities because both the French and German's occupied her homeland at different times.I would love to add Melanie's line to my family tree.
