MOSES LANCTOT INFO

Hello family members...
I need some help in confirming with the fact that MOSES LANCTOT (LANCTO/LONCT0) is the brother of my great great grandfather.

My great great grandfather was FRANCOIS-ESAIE LANCTOT
(LANCTO/LONCTO).Francois' parents was Hubert Lanctot(Lancto/Loncto)and Esther Houle.
Hubert and Esther had Francois in 1844/45, and also
Alexander and Gilbert.Gilbert and Alexander married
sisters (Julie and Mary Patenaude).. HOWEVER, based on
the information that I have re-checked, I am leaning towards the fact the there may be another brother MOSES.
Can anyone confirm that info with me?
I believe that this Moses lived in NY..

(please note this is more than one Moses in this family line so date of birth that I am looking for may be in the
1840's.)
