Linson B. Landrum-death date

I need help with Linson B. Landrum and Elizabeth Pitts.I am looking for a marriage date and a source for the death date of April 19, 1865 in New Orleans for Linson B.

I found them in the 1850 & 1860 Jones Co MS Census and then I found Elizabeth and most of their children in 1870 & 1880 Census still in Jones Co., MS.I am also a bit confused if Linson B. died in 1865 who is the father of Minerva, Erasmus & Ransom? Elijah Shoemake?He was living with Elizabeth and the children in the 1870 Census, then she was living with him in the 1880 MS Census and she had another child named Ransom who was 6.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
