Thanks for the response.I've seen several people with the same information but no one can tell me where they got the dates and places of his death.I have his civil war record too but it doesn't give much information.
I have copies of the court record from "Miscellaneous Records of Jones County, MS" which include Final Records of the Chancery Court, Jones County, MS 1857-1890.

Page 160 in the matter of the petition of Elizabeth Landrum, widow of Lincon Landrum, deceased for dower property.
Publication in Shubuta Times for Jessie Landrum and Mastin Landrum.Citation to Greene County for William Landrum and to Jones County for Isabella Landrum, John Landrum and Stephen Landrum.Returnable at next court, 4th monday in January 1871.Further ordered that clerk mail a copy of this order to M. T. Enterprise, Rusk County, Texas.

Enterprise, Rusk County, Texas.Martha Landrum who lives in Texas, Post Office Unknown.William Landrum, Greene County, MS; Isabella, John, Stephen, Zachariah and Charles Landrum of Jones County, MS.The last 6 are minors.Petitioner is guardian of Charles, Zachariah and Stephen.The others have no guardian.Petitioner is also administrator of her late husbands estate.There are debts against the land.She wants her dower of 1/3 set off for life under direction of the court.
