Samuel L. Landrum (Civil War Vet)

Hello, all! I'm looking for info concerning an ancestor of mine, Samuel L. Landrum. He's buried in Salem Cemetery, Wayne County, Mississippi. The headstone says he was a member of Cobb's Battalion during the Civil War. Unfortunately, it doesn't display a birth or death date.

Searches for Cobb's Bttn have turned up mixed results. Do any of you kind folks have information regarding this man that you'd be willing to share?
