A Reuben Landrum had a daughter who was named Sarah Landrum, and Sarah was the first of the two wives of David Arnett (born 18 Jun 1752 in Louisa Co., VA (apparently); died after 1833 in Barren Co., KY).David Arnett's second wife was Mary Shackleford. Was this the same Reuben Landrum who was out of James Landrum and Mary Brown of Essex Co., VA?
The above David Arnett was a son of a James Arnett (married a Susannah McGehee) and a grandson of an earlier "first" David Arnett (married a Martha Unknown).James and Susannah (McGehee) Arnett had a daughter who was named Henrietta Arnett, and she married a Charles Brown in 1785 in Louisa Co., VA.Do you have any idea if that Charles Brown was out of the same overall "William Brown family" as the Mary Brown who had married James Landrum?
Are you aware of a living male Brown who is out of the above Brown family who could take the "Brown DNA test?"Some researchers believe that the above William Brown was POSSIBLY a brother of the Francis Brown "I" who left his will in Essex Co., VA in 1691/1692, and it strongly appears that the overall Brown family of Francis Brown "I" is "represented" by the numerous male Brown DNA donors in DNA "Group 10" at the Brown Society DNA testing project and website. Thanks!
