Hi Bill and THANK YOU for seeing my message and corresponding.I will take time later this evening or tomorrow to delve better into your info and dig around in mine.I also have a Louisa Co., VA interest because I have a set of pat. 3rd gt gpa who were md. there in the late 1820's---James Overton Baker and wife Elizabeth Terry. My pat. gfa is from their line.My mat. gmo. is from the Landrum line. You can imagine all the lines that criss-cross---my husband's as well....we have VA people coming out of our ears and are enjoying pooling our resources, etc..Do you live in VA or near there? We live in NE KY about 50 west of Huntington, WV along the Ohio River. We try to get to VA at least once yearly to work on genealogy.I need to spend time in Louisa Co. working on Bakers and Terrys, so I could do some look ups for you, as well, if you are unable to get there.I have wondered about your Reuben---what are his dates?I am starting to be able to better piece together my Landrums--I hope!I am working on verifications, verifications, verifications.I need to dig around more in the Essex Co. records re any info on William Brown(e) and verifying our William.I have not gotten into court records re him enough to know much re his children. That isi something to do.There is an interesting site----VawterFamily.org---type that in and then click on Vawter Family Index Page. Then on that home page, look along the left side and click on "Books--Brouse Vawter family research, etc." and look for the 4-part thingy by Georgene Jurgensen. It is wonderful.Part 1 mentions so many persons in our Landrum line.I also have the 8-vol. set of of "Cavalier and Pioneers" land abstracts and an early VA wills and deeds index book if you'd like anything looked up.More later.THANKS again!Fondly, Lois
