There is a lot to digest in your posting and I have not worked on the Browns for many years so am very rusty.William Brown was definitely married to Elizabeth Allen by 1689.She was his 2nd wife. (First wife unknown) His third wife Mary was unlikely to have been an Allen and I don't think there is any record suggesting it,but someone has compiled "implied" marriages for Essex Co suggesting she was an Allen because they misunderstood some of the records--especially the usage of "in-law" at that time.

William Jr. married Margaret Cloutson.She joined him in a deed in 1714 or 1715 (could look it up later).Samuel Stallard was his guardian in 1708.Think I concluded Wm Jr was born between 1687 and 1693.My last record of him is in 1723 in Essex so he may have moved to some other county.Don't think I ever determined that for sure,but if you find a Wm with wife "Margaret" he would be a possibility.

There were several contemporary Williams Browns.In a 1682 deed the older Wm Brown discussed above is called "William Brown the younger" in a 1682 deed.That seems to suggest there was some older kinsman named William Brown,but it is hard to say for sure.The only time I ever found him associated with another Brown was a 1700 appraisal of the estate of Susannah Davis on which he was an appraiser together with Charles Brown and a third party,as I recall,but it could easily be coincidence.

It helps to distinguish this Wm Brown by his mark:WB (two capitals conjoined)
