It is interesting to note that, per this:

Thomas Page and Elizabeth Allen (parents of the Mary Page who married Valentine Allen) had a daughter named Elizabeth Page who married Cornelius Noel.Cornelius and Elizabeth (Page) Noel had a daughter named Mary Noel who married a Cloutson (per Cornelius' Will, as shown in the above link).I see from the Old Rappahannock and Essex Co., VA marriage records in the 1720s that there was an Ann Cloutson who was a sister of a Cornelius Cloutson, and that the Margaret Cloutson/Clouson who married William Brown (William "Junior"....an apparent son of the older William Brown who had married, as one of his three wives, Elizabeth Allen, a daughter of Valentine Allen and Mary Page) was a daughter of a Thomas Cloutson/Clouson.Perhaps Cornelius Cloutson was named for Cornelius Noel, and perhaps Thomas Cloutson was named for Thomas Page.
As I stated in an earlier post, the Noel family married into the Charles/William/Daniel/Berriman/Merriday Brown family of Essex Co., VA, but a John Brown in my unrelated DNA "Group 10" Brown family also bought land around 1813 from Silas Mercer Noel....so there were various "connections" between these neighbors.I will see if the wife's name of "Margaret" proves to be of any value in my "search" for William Brown "Junior."Thanks again.
