Re: Mary Buckner?? Mary Chew?? or Mary Adkinson ??

The FACT is that NO ONE has any documentation to prove what Mary's maiden name was and probably never will.I have researched the Landrums for over 35 years and studied the colonial surnames of Chew, Adkinson and Copeland (Buckner isn't even a consideration) in-depth but there just are no extant legal records to prove Mary's maiden name to be any one of the aforementioned surnames (which appear near the Landrums) in the early records of VA, NC, SC, GA, MS and AL.
