So sorry it has taken me so long to respond.I had family matters to take care of which took me away from working on my family tree for awhile.I had not run across Elizabeth Allen so I am glad you shared that inormation.I have his other two wives as Mary Vawter dau. of Bartholomew Vawter and then Mary Brown the dau. of William Brown.I have James Landrum as the son of William Landrum of Essex County, VA.The only other siblings I have for this James Landrum are William Landrum, Thomas Landrum and John Landrum.The brother, John Landrum, was married to Katherine Thomas. Issue from John and Katherine are John (b. 1710), William (b. 1712), George (b. 1715), James (b. 1719), Daniel (b. 1720), Mary (b. 1723), Katherine (b. 1726).I am afraid that is as far forward as I can bring that line.I do know that some of the Landrums I am following show up in Cumberland and in Chesterfield County, VA.I am afraid I have not looked into any that migrated to Spotsylvania County.
